Students in every grade are now participating in enrichment opportunities that they would not ordinarily have an opportunity to do during regular classes. Grisham has been fortunate to receive an innovation grant allowing the purchase of several STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) kits for students to tinker and build. During this fifth six-week period, students are able to experience enriching opportunities during their Den time. Activities range from historical breakout (escape type game) games, building marble runs, robotics, Minecraft building, 3D design, and virtual reality. They will attend one session for a three week period, then change experiences for the last three weeks. Our aim is to provide them with hands-on STEM projects and let them showcase what they can achieve.
