This Old House

Mr. Reynold’s CTE classes are using Sketchup this year for modeling. They have been practicing with the tool and are now working on creating houses. Sketchup comes with a robust set of library objects with which to build just about anything. In addition, add-ons make it possible to solve various modeling challenges. Textures and paints can be applied as well as positioning the sun to see how a structure might look in various seasons of the year.  A few students are working with Mrs. Lind’s Virtual Reality Club to export their models for import into the software they are using to create virtual environments.
