I have a product sharks…

Mr. Reynolds IB Tech classes became entrepreneurs last week as they pitched the future communication device to the investor (Mr. Reynolds). Students spent a couple of weeks designing and refining a product they felt would be a future ‘cell phone’. Not only did they design and detail their specifications on paper, they used foam and hot wire cutters as well as other glues and construction elements to physically create their ‘cell phones’.  Students also prepared brochures to give to the class, shark, and other spectators.  Last week was the culminating presentation to pitch their ideas in hopes of a ‘sale’. They created business presentations and brand logos for their products. It was a great experience using the design cycle, technology and good salesmanship.
